1st Debate Point:
John R. Watson conducted an experiment that showed that people develop phobias based on prior experiences and they aren't born with them by causing a previously unafraid baby to attain a fear of rats.
2nd Debate Point:
People who have genetic disorders can overcome them with treatments, proving that genetic disorders can be overcome
3rd Debate Point:
People who say genes determine how you act are just making excuses for criminals to feel better about how they are, it's an easy answer.

I think you could have expanded more on your points, but what you do have is very concrete and provides a very good arguement for the idea it is nuture rather than nature that leads people to be who they become. If you were to add in some more descriptions of your points I think it would be a very good blog.
ReplyDeleteI think that you should have written a reflection on how you felt about the way your actual debate turned out. A few more points that you opponent made and how you responded to those would have been ideal.
ReplyDeleteTwo things, first is that you need to make it obvious what you are arguing about. Second, I think you need to go more in-depth with your points. I think this is a good start, and you CAN do betteR!
